Wedding Photographer & Videographer in Hialeah, FL
Hialeah weddings are family weddings in the fullest sense: large guest lists, several generations in one room, a church ceremony, and a reception that goes late. The city is inland, a few miles northwest of downtown Miami, so the day is usually built around a church, a ballroom, and one good place for portraits.

As a wedding photographer and videographer in Hialeah, we plan for the size of the family and for the drive between those three points.
Hialeah Wedding Venues and Portrait Locations
Hialeah Park is the landmark: the historic racetrack opened in the 1920s, with a Mediterranean-style clubhouse, long staircases, royal palms, and its famous flock of flamingos. It hosts events and is the most distinctive backdrop in the city.

Most receptions here are in ballrooms and banquet halls, in Hialeah itself and in Miami Lakes next door. They are built for big celebrations, and they are dark by design, so reception lighting is something we bring and plan, not something we hope for.

For portraits, the surrounding area gives a lot of choice within a short drive. Miami Springs has the Curtiss Mansion and quiet streets under the trees. Coral Gables, with the Biltmore and its stone courtyards, is about twenty minutes away. The beaches and the bay are thirty to forty minutes, depending on traffic.

Churches often have their own rules about where photographers and videographers may stand during the ceremony. We ask the parish before the wedding, not during it.
Light, Timing, and Large Families
With no beach at the door, portraits are a decision, not a default. If you want an outdoor session at Hialeah Park, in Coral Gables, or by the water, we place it where the travel costs the least: often between the ceremony and the reception, or on a separate day.

Sunset is about 5:30 pm in December and about 8:15 pm in late June. Midday light in South Florida is strong all year, so we use shade, arcades, and interiors in the middle of the day. From June through October afternoon storms are common, and a covered plan for portraits matters.

Large families need their own plan. We ask for a list of group photos in advance and one person from each side who knows the faces. With that, forty relatives can be photographed in fifteen minutes and nobody is missing from the album.

Saturday traffic around Miami is part of the timeline. We schedule with real driving times, not the ones on the map.
Photo and Video Together on Your Wedding Day
We photograph and film Hialeah weddings as one crew. That matters most in tight moments: a full church aisle, a grand entrance into a ballroom, a first dance with two hundred guests around the floor. Two separate teams would be in each other's frame. We decide in advance who stands where.

During the ceremony one camera stays wide and steady for the full record, while another follows faces: the look at the top of the aisle, a parent in the front row, hands during the rings. Vows and speeches are recorded with dedicated microphones, so your film has clear voices, not room noise and music.

After the wedding, video packages with a teaser or trailer deliver it within two days, and photo collections include a preview within 48 hours. The full film, the ceremony and speech edits, and the complete gallery follow. The collections on this page show what is included at each level, and each one can be adjusted: more hours, a second videographer, extra social cuts.

Our style is calm. We guide when it helps, mostly during portraits and family groups, and step back the rest of the time so the day looks the way it felt.
Book Your Hialeah Wedding Photographer and Videographer
We are based in Sarasota, about three and a half hours away across the state, and we travel for weddings across Florida. In South Florida we cover Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Miami Springs, Doral, and Miami. We plan the drive with a wide margin so that we are on site and set up well before the first event of the day.

Send us your date, your venue, and whether you need photo, video, or both. We will reply with availability and a clear quote. The collections on this page are the same ones we offer at home. If you are still choosing a venue, tell us which ones you are considering and we will tell you how each will work for photos and film.
