Wedding Photographer & Videographer in Naples, FL
Naples weddings have a look of their own: calm Gulf water, wide white beaches, royal palms, and resorts and clubs where the details are taken seriously. It is a quieter and more formal setting than most of the Florida coast, and the coverage should match it: unhurried, precise, and never in the way.

As a wedding photographer and videographer in Naples, we plan around three things: the venue's rules and schedule, the hour of sunset over the Gulf, and the time you want to spend with your guests rather than with us.
Naples Wedding Venues: Beach Resorts, Clubs, and Gardens
Most Naples weddings take place in one of a few kinds of setting.

The beach resorts are the best known. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples on Vanderbilt Beach and LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort put the ceremony on or beside the sand, with ballrooms and terraces a short walk away. Just south, on Marco Island, the JW Marriott offers the same combination on an even wider beach. For these weddings the plan is simple: portraits in the shade of the property while the sun is high, the beach in the last hour of the day.

Golf and country clubs, including The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburon, give you long green views, old trees, and reliable indoor rooms. The light on a golf course is open and even, which works well for large family groups.

Naples Botanical Garden is the choice for couples who want something other than the beach: tropical plants, water, and paths that change character every few steps. It photographs beautifully in soft morning or late afternoon light, and it stays interesting on a cloudy day.

Then there is the town itself. Old Naples, with Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South, has palm-lined streets, courtyards, and low pastel buildings. It is a good place for a short portrait walk before or after the ceremony, and it is only a few minutes from the beach.

Private clubs and estates often have their own rules for vendors: arrival times, where equipment can be placed, whether a drone is allowed. We ask for those rules in advance and plan within them.
Gulf Sunsets, Season, and Timing in Naples
Naples faces west across the Gulf, so the sun sets over the water all year. That is the picture most couples come here for, and the whole timeline can be built around it. We usually suggest a ceremony that ends 45 to 60 minutes before sunset, which leaves time for portraits on the beach while the sky changes.

Sunset is about 5:35 pm in December and about 8:25 pm in late June. The wedding season here runs mostly from November through April, when the air is dry and the evenings are mild, so many Naples weddings are winter weddings with an early sunset. A 4:30 ceremony in January is normal. If you would rather have a later ceremony, we plan a first look and portraits beforehand so you are not chasing the last light.

From June through September the afternoons are hot, and short thunderstorms pass through most days. Summer weddings work well here, but they need a covered backup close to the ceremony site and a timeline with some room in it. Late summer and early fall are also hurricane season, which is worth discussing with your venue and planner.

Beaches in Naples are calm, and the water is often flat at the end of the day, which gives clean reflections and very soft light. There is still a breeze off the Gulf, so we record vows with microphones made for outdoor sound.
Quiet, Complete Coverage: Photo and Film Together
We photograph and film as one team, and at a Naples wedding that matters for a simple reason: fewer people moving around your ceremony. The photographer and the videographer agree on positions in advance, stay out of each other's frame, and share one plan for portraits, so you spend less time away from your guests.

For film, vows and speeches are recorded with dedicated microphones. On the larger collections the ceremony is covered from several angles. Where the venue and the rules allow it, we add drone footage of the coastline and the property.

What you receive depends on the collection: a vertical highlight for social media or a teaser within two days, a cinematic highlight film, full edits of the ceremony and speeches, and an edited photo gallery with a preview within 48 hours. The collections and prices on this page are starting points. Hours, a second videographer or photographer, and extra edits can be added to fit a larger day.

We dress and work to fit the room. Direction is short and clear when it is needed, and the rest of the time we stay in the background.
Book Your Naples Wedding Photographer and Videographer
We are based in Sarasota, about two hours north of Naples on I-75, and we travel for weddings across Southwest Florida: Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers. We plan the drive with a wide margin so that we are on site and set up well before the first event of the day.

Send us your date, your venue, and whether you need photo, video, or both. We will reply with availability and a clear quote that includes travel. If you are still choosing a venue, tell us which ones you are considering and we will tell you how each will work for photos and film.
